We are pleased to announce our newly elected Principals

We are pleased to announce that James T. Aldredge, James F. Parker, and Nathan E. Vassar have been elected Principals of the Firm.

We are pleased to announce that James Aldredge, James Parker, and Nathan Vassar have been elected Principals of the Firm effective January 1, 2018. We thank them for all of the hard work and talent they have shared with our Firm and our clients over the years and look forward to their continued success.

James T. Aldredge

James’ practice focuses on securing water supplies for clients as they plan for the future. He represents clients before various regulatory agencies, the State Office of Administrative Hearings, and state courts. Before joining Lloyd Gosselink, James served as an attorney for five years with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. His intimate familiarity with the inner-workings of water rights, districts, utilities, and water quality regulation in Texas provides a unique and valuable perspective to Lloyd Gosselink’s clients.  James received his B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.

James F. Parker

For nearly two decades, James has represented clients in complex litigation and appeals that affect not just the parties, but all of the people of Texas. As an experienced litigator, James listens closely to his clients in order to learn quickly the most minute details of their businesses, disputes, and needs. But it’s not enough that he knows the details–he has to explain those details in terms the judge and jury will understand. At the same time, James’ clients trust him to translate the litigation process into recommendations on which they can act. James has been his clients’ explainer/translator in courts across Texas–from Orange County to El Paso County. Having practiced in San Antonio for four years and in Dallas more than ten before joining Lloyd Gosselink, James has broad experience representing both public and private clients in a variety of industries and in a wide range of cases. James received his B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.

Nathan E. Vassar

Nathan’s practice at Lloyd Gosselink is influenced by his experience in the state house and his background in both regulatory compliance and environmental damages litigation.  He focuses on regulatory compliance, water resources development, and water quality matters, addressing permitting and enforcement, and when necessary, litigation.  Nathan regularly appears before state and federal agencies, as well as courts across the state and region.  Prior to joining Lloyd Gosselink, Nathan worked in commercial litigation at a boutique Dallas firm, achieving successful results for clients in a wide array of business disputes, including environmental litigation.  He also draws upon his experience in policy and work with administrative agencies from his time as a Legislative Director for a State Senator.  During law school, Nathan served as a summer clerk for then-Circuit Court Judge Neil M. Gorsuch of the United States Tenth Court of Appeals.  Nathan received his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and earned his J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
