Lloyd Gosselink is pleased to announce the Six distinguished law students selected to take part in our Summer 2025 Law Clerk Program!

This summer, we are excited to welcome law clerks Austin Biehle, Sarah Carr, Chloe Fisher, Bryan Garcia, Gabriel Murillo, and Nico Gonzalez. Lloyd Gosselink takes pride in its long-standing and robust Law Clerk Program, and we look forward to continuing our tradition of providing outstanding law students with the opportunity to gain experience working with both principals and associates in all of the Firm’s diverse areas of practice.

Austin Biehle
Austin is a second-year law student at Texas A&M University School of Law. He serves as the Symposium Editor for the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law and was this year’s Outstanding Staffer Award recipient. Austin was the sole law student selected to present his original legal research at the international 19th Annual Planning Law and Property Rights Conference in Cardiff, Wales. While serving A&M’s Environmental Law Clinic, he co-authored and edited an environmental justice report and three citizens’ guides. He has worked as a legal clerk for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Nichols, Brar, Weitzner & Thomas Law LLP, the National Park Service in Washington, D.C., and Pagel Davis & Hill, P.C. Austin enjoys tennis, horology, drawing, and making collages.

Sarah Carr
Sarah is a second-year law student at South Texas College of Law Houston, where she ranks in the top 10% of her class and serves on the South Texas Law Review. She has earned a CALI Award in Legal Research and Writing and is a Presidential Fellow. Sarah’s legal experience includes internships with the Office of the Attorney General in the Labor and Employment Division, Hotze-Runkle PLLC, and a future position at Klitsas and Vercher PC. She also has experience in property management and legal publishing. Her community service includes volunteering with Austin Pets Alive and The School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Sarah enjoys pickleball, tennis, and true crime podcasts.

Chloe Fisher
Chloe is a second-year law student at The University of Texas School of Law. She serves as Editor-in-Chief for the Texas Environmental Law Journal and is a Staff Editor for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law. She is also an active member of the law school’s theater organization, Assault & Flattery. Chloe’s legal experience includes working as a Legal Intern with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and as a student attorney with the UT Environmental Law Clinic. She previously interned with UT Austin’s Resource Recovery program, helping divert thousands of pounds of waste from landfills. Chloe’s interests include renewable energy, playwriting, theory of knowledge, pogo sticking, and standup comedy.

Bryan Garcia
Bryan is a second-year law student at Texas A&M University School of Law, where he serves as Note and Comment Editor for the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law and is President of the Latinx Law Student Association. He placed second in the 2024 Intramural Moot Court Competition and is a Student Ambassador and Professional Identity Teaching Assistant. Bryan’s legal experience includes serving as a Student Attorney in the Texas A&M Criminal Defense Clinic, interning with the Office of the Attorney General and the 134th Civil District Court, and assisting Professor Huyen Pham with research in immigration and criminal law. Bryan is a former Student Body President at West Texas A&M University. His interests include Texas Rangers baseball, 5K running, and visiting military museums.

Gabriel Murillo
Gabriel is a second-year law student at The University of Texas School of Law. He is involved with the Texas International Law Journal and the Chicano/Hispanic/Latino Law Students’ Association. Gabriel’s legal experience includes a summer internship with Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid in Eagle Pass, where he worked across practice areas including immigration, family law, and turnover receivers. He also served as a researcher and writer for the Texas House of Representatives’ House Research Organization, drafting over 150 non-partisan bill analyses. Gabriel previously interned for State Representative John Turner and at St. Mary’s University’s International Office. He is proficient in Spanish and enjoys hiking, international relations, Arsenal football, the San Antonio Spurs, and Dungeons and Dragons.

Nico Gonzalez
Nico is a first-year law student at The University of Texas School of Law, where he is a Staff Editor for the Journal of Law and Technology at Texas, a member of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law, and serves as a 1L Representative for the Texas Business Law Society. He was a quarter finalist in the Fordham Law Transactional Skills Competition and is a member of the Chicano/Hispanic/Latino Law Students’ Association. Nico’s legal experience includes clerking at Terrazas PLLC and interning at EC Rubio in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. He also served as a federal policy intern at TechNet in Washington, D.C. and held a leadership role in UT’s Student Government. Nico is a native Spanish speaker who enjoys traveling to Mexico, oil painting, golfing, classic Hollywood cinema, and cheering on UT football.
