Emily is a member of the firm's Employment Law Practice Group and focuses on providing practical advice to employers on daily employment matters such as interviewing, hiring, firing, disciplining and training. She also counsels employers in developing and implementing workplace policies. Emily defends employers before administrative agencies, courts, and in mediation and arbitration.

Emily is also a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group, where she represents clients in all aspects of litigation.

In law school, Emily was a member of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and the Moot Court Board. Prior to joining Lloyd Gosselink, Emily was a legal intern in the General Counsel's Office of a large government-owned power provider.

Emily grew up in the DFW area, first moving to Austin to attend the University of Texas. While still at UT, Emily got her first glimpse of life at Lloyd Gosselink, as a case clerk for the Water Practice Group. While she briefly left for law school, Emily is overjoyed to be back in the capital city. Outside the office, Emily enjoys cheering on the Longhorns and Cowboys, exploring Austin\'s restaurant scene, and attending spin class and hot yoga.
