Lauren’s practice focuses on providing employers practical day-to-day compliance advice and representing employers in employment-related litigation.  Lauren routinely drafts employment handbooks, policies, and agreements, including non-competition and severance agreements.   She also conducts investigations and counsels clients through hiring, firing, and other employment-related decisions. Lauren has defended employers against discrimination and retaliation claims, breach of contract claims, and other employment-related torts. In addition to being a member of the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group, she is also a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where she represents clients in all aspects of litigation.

Lauren is an outdoor enthusiast who loves camping, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.  When not in the office, Lauren can be found running the Austin trails with her Siberian Husky and Australian Shepherd, planning her next hiking and camping adventure, or exercising her creativity in the art of modern calligraphy.
