Melissa Long is a member of the Energy and Utility Practice Group. She received her undergraduate degree in Finance and Spanish with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. Melissa was a Dean's Scholarship recipient at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, she was an articles editor for the SMU International Law Review Association and her comment was selected for publication. She later published quarterly updates in the Law and Business Review of the Americas as the NAFTA reporter. Melissa also worked as an intern for Chief Judge A. Joe Fish, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas.
