Chris Brewster is a member of the Firm’s Utility Practice Group. His responsibilities include the analysis and evaluation of the emerging nodal market at the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and the Public Utility Commission of Texas. Prior to joining our Firm, Chris served as the Lead Electric Policy Analyst for the Public Utility Commission of Texas where he advised the commissioners on electric-industry matters, including the Commission's contested caseload and rulemakings, and participated in regular Commission open meetings as well as Commission-held hearings-on-the-merits. While in law school, Chris clerked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Indiana. Chris is a member of the Administrative and Public Law and Public Utility sections of the State Bar of Texas. He earned a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Houston, and he received a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Chris is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Illinois. Originally from Indiana, Chris and his wife, Holly, now reside in Austin, Texas.
