Brad Cummins, of Counsel, is a member of the Firm’s Transactions Practice Group. He practices in the areas of real estate, formation of business entities, estate and gift planning, probate, commercial contracts and preventative law. Brad has 25 years of experience in representing buyers, sellers, developers, landlords, tenants, lenders, and investors in real estate from all sides of the negotiation table. This experience and perspective enables him to quickly identify financial, business and legal needs, and to craft effective solutions into favorable agreements. In coordination with other Firm practice groups, Brad provides field assistance to governmental entities, business owners, and managers on risk management issues, easements, rights of way, pooling and spacing agreements, restrictive covenants, indemnifications, release financing arrangements, development agreements, contracts, and other transactional matters. Brad received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law and his BBA degree in accounting from Texas Tech University. He has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Texas. Brad is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Section), and is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
