Ty H. Embrey is a member of the Firm’s Water Practice Group and practices in the areas of environmental and water law. Ty received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Baylor Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Texas at Austin. Ty served as General Counsel to the Texas Senate Natural Resources Committee. He served as lead staff for the Oil-Field Cleanup Fund Advisory Committee and General Counsel for the Texas Senate Water Advisory Council and the Joint Senate and House Committee on Water Resources. He also served as General Counsel to Senator J.E. “Buster” Brown and Legislative Aide to State Representative Beverly Woolley. Ty is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Environmental and Natural Resources Section), the Austin Young Lawyers Association, and the Austin Bar Association.
