A former municipal attorney, Georgia Crump focuses on telecommunications, cable, and electric and gas utility rates, regulation, and rule-making. A member of the Utility Practice Group, she frequently practices before the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) and the TCEQ. Prior to joining Lloyd, Gosselink, she gained experience as City Attorney for the City of Edinburg, Texas (1981-84) and Assistant City Attorney for the City of McAllen, Texas (1978-80). Georgia has worked extensively throughout the country for local governments on all issues pertaining to utility regulation and franchising. She is a frequent speaker on these topics and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas City Attorneys Association, American Bar Association, International Municipal Lawyers Association, National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors, and Federal Communications Bar Association. She received an A.B. in 1975 from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania and a J.D. in 1978 from Baylor University.
